You know I have to post the black and white. Those are always my favorite! Some of these were posted earlier in another section- but some are here for the 1st time. I really liked all of these. We were missing my oldest sister and her family on this day. Of course, I will hound them at the beach, too!

This is my sister and her youngest. She is the birthday girl. They both have that beautiful red hair. There aren't many pics of the 2 of them. I thought these turned out great!

This is my brothers family. His daughter is the one I have done Sr. portaits of. Sad to think that next year she will be off at college- thankfully she isn't going too far! She'll only be a few minutes from me! I thought these were really goood being that we spent less than 10 minutes for the entire take! We were at a b day party and the little one just wanted to play. Besides- there will be many more opportunites. The 5 of them are together most of the time. This summer at the beach I will be a picture taking MANIAC!

Birthday Party

The birthday girl is 4 years old today! My little niece (the one laying on her tummy) had her party at the park and I decided to take advantage of the pretty day. We had a fun day. There will be a couple of posts from this day. I love the one of my Mom with the 2 girls. They are the youngest grandchildren- she had her picture with the 2 oldest girls last week. The girls are best of friends- cousins- and the boys are too! My son talks about his cousin pretty much every day and can not wait to see him again! They are all so sweet to be around! I am thrilled to get these momesnts captured!

These of the girls by themselves were too cute to pass up. The really pink one of my little girl is after I played with the color some- I will play with it more over the weekend and show the differences that can be made with angle adjustmests and color adjustments- it will be fun to play with. Almost every picture has been adjusted in some way. That is the artistry in it for me. Anyone can point and click- I like to really try to get a "feel" for the picture and edit it to convey that feeling.

Black and Whites-

As I said earlier- some of these pictures are the same as the ones in color earlier. Black and white pictures are truly my favorite! I think maybe my memories are in black and white (those of you who know me KNOW that I can never remember colors!!) so, this must be nostalgia for me! :)

Mom

Here are a couple of my Mom. She usually does not let us really take pictures- but she couldn't beat us this day- she HAD to join us!! They show her spirit to me. She is always so much fun and truly probably the nicest person I've ever met! A true role model. OK- I'm posting those black and whites I talked about earlier now-

The Girls

We had the BEST time together on this day!!! These are pictures of most of the girls in my family. My mom, sister, daughter and nieces all got together to go shopping. Well, you know I can't go anywhere without my camera, so we had a little session down by the Mississippi River. The wind was blowing so hard and it was pretty chilly- but we were hamming it up! This first set is of the color shots that I like. The second set will be black and whites of many of the same shots- it makes such a dramatic difference to me. I didn't play with them as much as I know I will in the next couple of days, my sister was anxious to see them :)
So, look for more to be put up soon! We must do this again! I may actually repaet pictures- this site is difficult- I can't see what I have already posted and after looking at these pictures as long as I have- I just can't keep them separate in my mind- so forgive any doubles!! :)
