Joy

Her name is so appropriate!! She was such a JOY to be around! This is another Sr. session that was sooooo much fun! Her Mom and sister came along with us and we had the best time giggling and sharing stories!! I felt like we are kindred spirits. =)

I also had my first session ever at the red barn I have admired for 2 years, at least!! And I was NOT disappointed!! I loooooove this barn!!! =) I know they are tired of hearing me say that-- so I will stop there -hahaha!!

But I loved these pictures and capturing these memories for her! She is so accomplished! She has that special letterman jacket and her tennis racket and her marching "stick"-- it has some special name -- but you know I can't remember it! =)

So I hope ya'll like them! I had a great time!!

Promise of Joy:
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Ephesians 6:16

This is the scripture that was taught at a youth camp I took the youth to. It is so important that our youth and young people need to face the world we live in. Joy-- I know you are prepared with these things to be successful in everything you do!! With this b;og I have said a little prayer for you! God Bless you!!!! ♥

Jana

Beautiful!!!
I have known Jana since she was in 1st grade. Her Mom teaches 1st grade with me and is one of my closest confidantes, and the person I usually whine to about work stuff and even lots of personal stuff. =) I was so excited when she asked me to do Jana's Sr. Portraits! I knew she'd be fun and absolutely gorgeous-- and I was right! I was also thrilled about some new spots that I found that she got to be "first" in!

I want to take a minute to brag on this young lady. She has worked so hard and has earned so many awards and titles this year. She was accepted into the prestigious Howard Hughes program last year, was crowned Homecoming Queen, she was named Athlete of the year for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and helped lead her basketball team to the finals this season!! She is also a very talented artist-- like her Mom. These are just the things I know about-- I am sure there are so many more I may not have heard about yet-- and some to come. She accomplished all this while working at least 1 job (at times 2)and maintaining a very high GPA while taking advanced courses!! I am so proud of her- and pray that she will continue forward to many more successes. Her Mom and Dad are so proud of her and her little sister. I could not be happier for them in all the celebration this year! =)

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a small part in all the fun!! You guys mean so much to me and I am so proud for you all!! Please let me know if there is anything else I can do!!

Promise of Joy:
Be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.
2 Chronicles 15:7

This has worked well for you so far =) It is so difficult to keep going strong sometimes, but keep your eyes on Jesus and He will guide your footsteps and make your plans succeed and your hard work pay off. God Bless you, Jana!!

Kason

Can you say Brrrrrrrrrrr????? This has been one COLD Louisiana winter!!! This sweet baby was awesome, though!! He never complained --- all the whining was from me, I am afraid! =) I do NOT do well in the cold! Now that the snow is gone I say forget winter- bring on the flip flop seasons!!

This is cutie pie Kason again! He is now ONE! Wow!! This year flew by for me! I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to photograph all of his milestones this year! It has been sooo much fun!! I have really enjoyed watching him grow.

Of course I had to snap some of his beautiful big sis, too. She likes the camera-- and it likes her too =)

Thanks again, for allowing me to be a part of these special times. I think this one is close in the running of my coldest session EVER-- but ya'll were great!!

I hope you love them!!

Promise of Joy:
The Lord will redeem those who serve Him. No one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned.
Psalm 34:22

This scripture truly comforts me. I have been so amazed lately at God's awesomeness. Not that He hasn't always been- but lately He has really revealed Himself to me as the One True Living God that created absolutely everything-- but still cares about me and listens to MY prayers! Wow! I am humbled! I truly pray that all who read this blog has or will have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Have a wonderful week!!
