Prom

The big Prom! This is my niece (I took her Sr. Portraits in earlier posts). The time of day was not good for these outdoor shots- so the quality of the photo is not that great. But these are just a few hi-lites. The group that met up to eat was huge as you can see. They seemed like a great bunch of guys and girls! I had a lot of fun- but we were pretty rushed and lots of people to photograph. They said they had a great time that night.
When I went to prom with my now husband, this niece was about to turn 1- and I have pictures of her kissing me that night. Wow- that seems like last year! I am so proud of her and have always felt like she owned a piece of my heart!!
Thanks for asking me- and I'm sorry they didn't turn out any better! I love you more than the "tars"!!!

Friends

This is my little girl and one of her best friends from school. They just met this year- but have really seemed to bond. They have a sweeet little group of girls at school that seem to be very close. My little one hardly knows how to act- she has been with boys for most of her life! So, when she gets with the girls she wants to sing, do hair and play dress up. They have so much fun together. My little one has the green bow and stripes- (for those of you that may not know) =)

A few more...

OK- I just couldn't resist- I had forgotten to post the top picture here and it is one of my very favorites- so I decided to post a few more. Not to mention, there are dozens not shown here at all. They just had a GREAT session. I can never stop with just a few favorites- I guess I become a little obsessed! I can't wait to see them in print!

OK- I believe this is all I will be posting for now. But I wanted to tell you a little about this litle guy. I can remember one year when his Mom so badly wanted a picture of him to give to his NaNa for Mothers Day. We all met at the church early for this massive undertaking. See, he HATES HATES HATES to have his picture taken! So, we all rolled around on the ground, made funny faces and and danced around like nuts for a full 30 minutes to try to get him to look! It was hilarious! So, boy, have we come a lOOOONG way! That is another reason I am so proud of these pictures. I had a great time, and I love them dearly!! P.S.- he is the same little boy in the blog back in November- that was the crying superman on Halloween- adorable!!!

"R" Black and Whites

These were sweet pictures of the two together. Black and white shows emotion so much better. I have a few more to post- then you need to go to www.printroom.com/pro/nielsenphotography to see the entire gallery.

More "R"

I am so excited about these pictures! They really relaxed with me - when I finally got rid of Mom - see top picture!! =) She said she didn't want to be in a picture- and I assured her she'd just be a presence like she always is in real life! i really liked the way that one turned out. And if you knew her- you'd know just how TRUE that picture is!! =)

"R" sneak Peek

These children belong to a good friend of mine. They are just precious! They did absolutely everything I told them to! The little boy has those beautiful bright blue eyes. They are both really quite shy- but they were awesome this day. I had the privilege of teaching the oldest one in 1st grade- the youngest is coming up next year! I have TONS of pictures of them- so this won't be the last you see of them! I hope you like them, "mom"!

Sr. H Finale

These turned out beautiful in black and white! Of course, I am always partial to black and white. Well, "H", you are stunning, and have a very bright future ahead of you (note the shades in the last picture) =) Call me anytime you want to go again!

Faded Out

I can do this type of coloring on any picture I take. But I only do a few to show- the others are all by request. I thought these turned out great. I think blu is one of the best colors for this technique! The borders used can be added to any picture also- by request- these would be a separate CD. Let me know what you think!

Sr. H (again)

Wow! I came up with soooo many more- I just couldn't wait to share. She is so photogenic. I will be posting her black and whites and faded ones, too. I try not to repeat shots in these postings- but some are just my favorites, no matter what I do to them! The top one on this post is my favorite of the entire session. There is just something about it.
