There is no perfect answer to this question =)
*Be yourself and comfortable. Consider the setting you've chosen and try to stand out for that setting.
*Sometimes it's helpful to look at other sessions to see what others have worn.
*Try to avoid busy prints and pastels.
*Layers are GREAT --from jewlery to scarves, vests, jackets,leggings, boots... it's all great!
*Coordinate without really matching is usually good.
*Bring objects that mean something to you... class ring, favorite toys for the children, letterman jacket, things that represent you or your children can be a lot of fun!!
**That's the most important thing- if you have fun than your portraits will be memorable and special!
