Gulf Shores

More 'H' Girls

Here are a few more- most of which I did some touch ups to. They are too cute!  I had so much fun doing these! I must tell you about the railroad track pictures! The Daddy had to go out of town- so he cut out just a as soon as we gave him the go ahead!  So it was just us girls- I had my daughter with me too. We headed downtown to the RR trach that has a bridge over the river. It has been a great backdrop in past sessions- WELL...  When we got there, there was another group there taking pictures (which I thought was funny- I have never seen anyone here before- but they were nice and moved right a long. We head toward the bridge and a car of ominous looking guys pulls up right by the bridge. Remember- it's just 2 women and 3 little girls with us- and for those of you that may not know- I am a SCAREDY CAT! I was ready to bolt- but the Mom seemed ok- so I made myself stay a little longer. But tried as I might- I could never concentrate. My mind was not on pictures, the bridge, smiles, poses or anything of the sort- It was busy trying to figure out the safest, quickest way to LEAVE! I even had visions of using my monopad like a baseball bat and took it off of my camera just in case!!  HA!The guys even came up on the track in front of my coveted bridge!!  So I just couldn't get my usual shots!  I finally looked at the Mom and said- "I just can't do it"!  She laughed and I am happy to say we left safely! So, if any of you out there are making plans for some train bridge pictures- make sure you have a tough man ready to tag along! HA! So, please forgive me if these aren't exactly as we hoped they would be! The 'H' Girls

All I can say is "personality plus"!!!  They can really keep you entertained. I wish I had time to upload them all!! This family is also expecting a new addition around March!!  Congratulations!  Since this revelation- plus another good firnd of mine is expecting- my kids really put the pressure on me!  I will have to borrow theirs every once in a while to help hush them up! HA! I love the one of the 2 of them together. They look so comfortable and happy! - They are really happy girls- and fiercely competitive. They are a ton of fun to be around!

The 'H' Family

What a great family!  I had really been looking forward to this session! Those girls are just beautiful! This is another family I got to know through my daughter. The younger is one of her best friends. They met in pre-k and have been in class together ever since. These family pictures are just a small sample of what I took. The weather was perfect and the lighting just right, so we took a lot! They are all really photogenic! I have not posted the whole gallery yet- but I will soon on the other site.We have a beautiful backdrop here in Louisiana- our bayous! They give such pretty scenery! I thought these turned out great! I hope you all like them!!!  Thanks for asking me to do this!!

More of Sr. 'A'

Here are a few more of Sr. 'A'. I really liked these 2 shots of her- so I fixed them up a little. I like this look for graduation invitations and special projects.
The top one is my favorite. She is so pretty and releaxed in these pictures. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
Thanks again for including me in this special time- you are too sweet!!

Just one moreword of Wisdom that I thought was perfect for a graduate:

Committ to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
Proverbs 16:3

This is even speaks to me!! If I could ever learn this, I know my life would be so much simpler! I hope you learn it early on 'A'! Best wishes!!

Sweet Sr. 'A'

I had a great time doing these Sr portraits. She is so pretty and sweet! This was the 1st time I had met her and had a great time. She has such a serious and sultry look- I loved it. It is so funny how each person has his or her own personality with the camera.

Thanks for trusting me to capture these important memories for you! She is a beautiful girl and I wish you all lots of luck (and hugs- HA!)

Trust in God and He will guide you in your future:
But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.
Psalm 33:11

More of my Family...

Well, I THINK these are going to be the last Gulf Shores post. I had a wonderful time and it reminds me again of how blessed I am. Our children are truly gifts and they are so special and talented and smart- that sometimes I wonder where they come from - ha!
Thank you God for blessing us with wonderful children and a wonderful relationship.

** Rejoice in all the good things the Lord your God has given to you and your household.
~Deuteronomy 26:11

My beach family--

Here are a few of my family pics from the beach. My two are 8 and 6 now! It has flown by. It has been 2 years since we have been to the beach. They haven't really changed much in their pictures. I like the picture of my husband by himself. He looks so happy- which why shouldn't he be?? Great family, at the beach- life is good!

Naturally I have a TON of them- but I will be gentle and only post a few!

It's hard to pose for pictures and not be the photographer! My sister took these- I thought she did a good job!

The Grandkids

Well, if I did not get a single picture at the beach- this is the one I wanted! My parents are great grandparents- and our kids LOOOOOOOOVE their Granny- just ask anybody!! So they all wanted a picture with her! I loved this one. I took several other combos- Granny with the girls, then the boys- but I just couldn't post them all! But they have the coolest "greasy granny" around!!!

More, More family pics!

The top picture my husband, me, my sister, my mom, my sister in law and brother.

The next is my Mom with me and one if my sisters. People tell us all the time we look alike. (?) Not really, but so we're told.

I love the one with my husband and all the girls. I had no idea that that;s what the group was until I saw it on the screen- I'm clueless when I am on the other side of the camera! =) But I thought it was cute.

I couldn't pass up those last 2 pictures of the girls! They are so pretty. They too are very different, but both so beautiful. The oldest is mine. My other sister has the gorgeous red hair like her little girl. Out of 9 grandchildren we couldn't believe she was the only one that got it! We only had 1 to inherit our super curly hair!!

My family protrait will be poated in a later- I am trying to get to those.

Beach Family...

These are the familes in their clusters. The top is my sister and her daughter she never had!!
The next is my other sisters children (she couldn't be there). The girl is 17, then the boy 15, then the youngest 4. They are beautiful children!!
The next is my brother and his wife. They are such a cute couple! Very different yet perfect for each other!
The next is their whole family. The girl is 18, then the boy is almost 16, then the youngest is 10. Beautiful, too- I am not saying a thing differnt for either group I know this site is heavily monitored! HA!!
The bottom is my brothers children by themselves.
I am soooo blessed to have such a wonderful family!! I thank God for them and for protecting us the way He has!!

More Family beach pictures

In that top picture we are striking a pose!! Pretty pitiful! That is every girl in my family except for one sister. What a fun group!

The 2 older girls are the first set of girl cousins that I mentioned earlier. They are only 9 months apart- so they have MANY common memories. Thinking back to them as babies makes me smile!! They were beautiful and so different! They were so much like the 2 little ones in some ways. It seems like just yesterday!!

The picture with the 4 girls are all of the grand daughters! They are beautiful!

I am actaully in the 3rd picture with my oldest niece. She is about to live close to me to go to college, I am so exctited!! We would probably favor if she wasn't 6 feet tall!! At her graduation a father said- "She didn't get your height- but she sure got your hair"! poor thing. She is as beautiful on the inside as the out!!

There was never a dull moment on this trip! These kids were always joking and singing and entertaining us in one way or another! They never stopped! I wish I had that kind of energy! They would just go until they were literally falling out! My oldest one fell asllep on the boat sitting straight up!!
