Fleur de Lis

These precious girls are Fleur de Lis princesses for the Miss Louisiana pagent!! That is sooo exciting! They will get to actually escort one of the contestants! I am so proud for them!

I was honored that their mom asked me to take their portraits for this special event! I had the BEST time--- in about 5 minutes!!! This was the fastest portrait session ever! But I guess it doesn't take long when you are this dang cute!! Have a great time, girls!!!

Promise of Joy:
They did not conquer by their own strength and skill, but by Your mighty power and because You smiled upon them and favored them.
Psalm 44:3

Thank you Lord, for giving us good things, and victories so that we can bring You glory!

Brittany

We had a great little trip to the country! This area is so pretty to me-- and this cutie fit right in!

These are some spots I have never been to before-- and I really love them!

I also love taking all of these Sr Portraits! I had a great time! What a sweet group of kids-- I hope my own children have a group of friends this awesome!! I hear all of these girls are neck and neck for top honors at their school-- so that is so exciting!!

Thank you so much for trusting me with your sweet memories of this exciting time!! I had a wonderful time!

Promise of Joy:
The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.
Deuteronomy33:27

What an awesome promise. That is truly comforting- especially in the crazy world we live in! But for true refuge, you must trust Him and call on Him.

** I am sooo behind right now!! My life has taken off at full speed and I am running to keep up with it all!! Thanks so much for your patience for the Blog!!! =)

Randol

Another fun Sr session!! I had a great time with Randol. I can tell is a very kind young man with a very bright future!!
We tried a spot or two that I had never photographed before-- and we both liked the results! He was open to almost anything!! That makes these sessions so much fun!! I also love meeting these young minds and can't wait to see them meet their potential!!
Thanks so much for asking me to be your photographer, Randol! I wish you the very best in your future!!
God Bless you and your family!

Promise of Joy:
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust.
Psalm 18:2

Every ounce of strength and endurance that we have to do the things we must do to find peace and joy in this life comes from God. He gives us ALL what we need-- but expects us and wants us to be in His will, so that He can give to us more abundantly.

LaQuonda

If you can't tell by all the SMILES-- we had a GREAT time!! =)
I was honored to have my "mentor student" from ULM ask me to take her Graduation Pictures!! She was such a great help in my classroom- and a wonderful example to all the students!! And she always seemed to perk me up!!
I really enjoyed her Mom, too- who drove 2 hours to come join the fun. I could really tell the close relationship those two "gals" have!
LaQuonda, I had a GREAT time- and I truly appreciate you trusting me with these special memories!! I wish you the very best -- just let me know if there is ever anything I can do!

Promise of Joy:
In My Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
John 14:2-3

I tresure this scripture- and it makes me smile when I think about it!! I bought my Mom the cutest little mug one time that said "When in Heaven we get our mansion, I hope mine is close to yours!" haha!! But to me-- life here is just a tiny little bit of all that we have ahead. I want to encourage you all-- please make sure He is preparing YOUR mansion too!! I hope we ALL live close by!!! =)
