You'll probably be seeing a lot of this little "booger"! =) He is my oldest sister's GRANDSON- wow!! That is such a shock to me still! And my parents are GREAT grandparents. Kinda hurts my heart-- but makes it happy at the same time! haha! And my nephew and niece are WONDERFUL 1st time parents! He is absolutely beautiful and sooo loved! I posted his new born pics already- but I wanted to show his "mini-session" we took during our first visit at his house. Poor thing! HE does not like being dressed/undressed- and just cried in between shots- he is going to hate to see me coming! But you can bet I will be there! =)
I love this little guy and am so thankful to God for blessing our family tremendously with so many healthy, wonderful, talented, sweet children! His hand has truly been on our family- and my prayer is that It stays there!! I can't wait to see the wonderful things Cole is blessed with!
Thank you Lord.
Promise of Joy: For I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
I don't know how I have done this-- but I have had the honor of photographing some of THE most beautiful couples!! And this couple is NO exception! I had never met the bride or the groom in this case-- and I was amazed at how easy they made my job. They are such a sweet, precious couple!!
God has been so good to me this hot, hot summer!! So many times the rain has held off until the minute my session is complete. And today, He filled the sky with clouds so that we could have a very pleaseant temperature for this session! I am just amazed! The entire summer I never had to move a single session for weather. Praise God for that. And often, it was cooler than usual.
We had a great time at the home of a very sweet family that is always so welcoming. This yard is beautiful with ENDLESS possibilities! I could do every session there and show something deifferent every time! I thought it turned out beautiful for this couple.
The BIG day is in November- and this session has gotten me really excited about it! I know it will be beautiful! The hardest part has been choosing my favorites!! There are sooo many more that I loved too!! My session favorite was the bottom one. They are just so happy!
So I am looking forward to posting pics of this happy couple in the future. Thanks soooo much "s" for trusting me with your beautiful portraits! It was great to finally meet you guys- I had a great time!
Promise of Joy: Perfect love casts out fear. 1 John 4:18
This verse is so sweet to me. But the word perfect is what really stands out. I don't believe we are capable of perfect love. This is only something that Christ has the capability of- and has PROVEN it to us through His death and resurrection. But if we give ourseleves to Him, we are capable of a much greater love than without Him. Marriage is so difficult in this world we live in. There are so many temptations and expectations out there that divide our focus from our family. The only way to resist those things is to keep 3 in your marriage at all time- you, your spouse, and Jesus. Love because of Him- and like Him. Be willing to give up ALL you have AND want-- for your family- for your spouse- for your marriage. I have prayed for this couple-- and all the others I have photographed-- for a loving, Christ-centered marriage-- it is an awesome thing- and worth staying focused on!!
I wanted to show off this handsome little ball player! His Mom came to the house and together we designed this poster-sized collage. She ordered it in a 20x30 size- and when it came in- it was just stunning! I would love to see it framed on a wall. It really turned out great!
Any session can have a collage made - family, bridal, senoirs- it's a great way to get as many portraits as possible.
This has been a great summer- and I have truly loooved working on these projects for these little guys!! =)
Thanks soooo much "k" for being so great to work with. It was a lot of fun and a new experience! Your little guy is so handsome- I hope our paths cross again in the future!
Promise of Joy: It is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13
There truly is no boundary to what God can do with us and through us if we submit to His will. Sometimes it is so difficult to truly KNOW what God has for us. I struggle with this almost daily. Reading His Word helps me to hear His voice and to understand Him-- this is the key to communication with an awesome God.
This precious family has honored me withthe opportunity to capture their sweet memories again!! I have really been looking forward to it-- they are so much fun and just beautiful!! They really make my job easy!! The heat was a killer-- but you would not have known by them!! Their Mom does such a fantastic job of coordinating their outfits!! After their last session I had so many families want the color combination she used!! I think she hit a winner again this time!! It's hard with boys and girls- but they look adorable!
Thanks so much, B, for trusting me with your memories again! I really enjoy your sweet children and love watching them "grow" in the pictures!
Promise of Joy: Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. Psalm 106:1
This scripture has been made into a song-- and I love that song and now it is stuck in my head!! I am so thankful for songs like that -- it helps me to remember scripture and keep them "close". I have sooo much to be thankful and praise God for- and these songs help me to do just that!! Take time to sing praise and glorify the One true living God! =)
What a wonderful day this was! My nephew and his wife welcomed their first born, a son, into the world! He is just perfect in every way and I can not wait to see him grow into a wonderful young man!!
My sister and her husband graduated to Me-Me and Pop and my parents are now GREAT grandparents!! That is shocking!! But we are all so excited and BLESSED to start this new phase in our family!! Wow!!
Promise of Joy: I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. 1 Samuel 1:27
He surrounded with sooo much love and many prayers!!!
