Another gorgeous girl!! Those EYES!!! And let me set the record straight-- I do NOT touch up these eyes!! =) They really are that green and that beautiful!! I showed their moms when I took them. It's a combination of great lighting, an awesome lens, and a creative Heavenly Father that truly blessed these girls! =) I understandably get asked about this and I always forget to mention it. (I say girls beacuse I am referring to previous posts as well.=) This is the same girl that I took Homecoming pictures of. I looooooove taking her picture-- she is flawless! We had a good time in the VERY short time that we had-- I think we shot for maybe 25 minutes by the time it was all said and done. We just did what we could. We hope to do more in the future.
Thank you again, M for trusting me with your precious Senior memories!! I can NOT believe your baby girl is graduating! Congratulations on raising a beautiful girl--- on the INSIDE as well as the outside. Spending this time with ya'll has meant a lot to me.
Promise of Joy: He is not here, but is risen! Luke 24:6 I wanted to add these precious words on this Easter Eve! I am so thankful that we do not worshp a god who is buried in a grave somewhere-- but THE Risen God who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Beautiful, beautiful! I know ya'll get tired of me saying that-- but you can't argue it!! These girls have all been stunning-- and I have one more to go!!! =)
This was a very last minute work in- but I think it turned out great!! I love spending time with these girls! I also got some great shots of her baby niece-- but those will come later. But I know graduation is just a few short weeks away and I was trying to get that much finished first. It had actually rained really hard the days before and I was worried-- but we found some high ground and made the best of it.
Thanks so much, K for trusting me with your baby girl's Senior memories!! That means so much to me!!! Best wishes!!
Promise of Joy: But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. 2 Peter 3:18
This is my wish for you and your future! God bless you!!!
These 2 gorgeous children belong to a sweet college friend of mine. It is such a small world. I met Amy in college and did not know anyone that she knew. But I ended up team teaching with her aunt, and my neighbor is her 1st cousin!! Amy also teaches at the school my school feeds into. And now, through my photography I get to actually know her children! I looove my job!!!! So I had an amazing time with these 2. They are sooo sweet and fun I kept telling their Mom I could take them home with me!! I love them!! They are as sweet as they are beautiful!! Amy-- thank you so much for asking me capture these moments for you! It was wonderful to spend the evening with you and catch up some!! We need to get together more often!!! =)
Promise of Joy: For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. Romans 1:16 I don't think I could find a more true scripture for this Easter Weekend! There is nothing more powerful than Jesus dying on the cross for us ALL. And His resurrection is further proof of that awesome power. I have spent most of my morning reflecting on this-- and being thankful that even if I was the ONLY one who needed salvation, he still would have gone to the cross. There is no more love than that!!! Thank you Lord Jesus.
This has been a looong time coming!! We have been trying to get this together for over a year! I love taking pictures of such a BEAUTIFUL family! It was a very cool and windy day- but we made it! =) And I love, love, love this yard (which I have used many times before). You may recognize the little one from a previous session-- she is personality PLUS!! I teach with this Mom and my son is a friend of their son. I have enjoyed watching them growing up! Thank you so much K and B for trusting me to take your portraits!!! Your family means so much to me!! I always have a great time with you guys!
Promise of Joy: In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6 I looove this scripture and have been claiming this for quite some time. There are so many changes coming up for me-- and I am so excited. Some changes are very bitter-sweet-- but because I know that God is behind them I find it very peaceful. He is in control of my life more than I have ever allowed Him to be. I have done things my way for so long-- and I am just worn out. I'm surrendering and letting Him do the work! =) WHY did it take me so long? I am a stubborn human, that's why. But we serve a patient and loving God and I love that He still speaks to me. So please be in prayer for me and what God is trying to do.... more to come =)
