Dixie 7/8 World Series

We followed these little warriors to the WORLD SERIES! I love to watch these great games!! I wish I could say they won them all-- They did win a couple- and I am proud to say that they made even the undefeated team fight HARD for their victory. They definitely had them worried.

They are a great little team- with good coaches- and I can see them doing very well in their future. It is hard to believe they are just 7 and 8-- until you look at the picture where they're playing I-Pods inbetween games. And on the gallery site you see them climbing on each others backs and wrestling-- yep, they are just 7 and 8! haha!! But on the field they seem so much older!

This is just a few of the many, many pics I took at the series. You can go to the right here and it has a link of where to click to see the gallery page. Scroll down to where it says World Series and you will be able to see the rest. I had a great time capturing these moments!!

Colby- I am so proud of you-- in more ways than one-- Love you C man!!! =)

Promise of Joy:

Psalm 20:4

I truly want this for every little guy on this page! Not just in baseball- but in every other area of their lives. All good things come from God- and He loves us enough to help us fulfill the desires of our heart!

This talented group of guys is headed to the Dixie League World Series! I am so proud of them- and can't wait to head out in the morning to watch them play at the World Series!!

The little guy in the top photo is no stranger to this blog. He is like one of my own! I have loved him since birth- and have been privileged to be his teacher at church and at school! I love this little guy!!

I just wanted to showcase them- and wish them the best of luck!! I will let you know how it goes!

Promise of Joy:

These young men are in the spotlight (and their parents and coaches) -- they can really make a difference in how the world views a Christian with their sportsmanship =)

Brothers

These two handsome guys were so much fun to photograph! That little one has personality plus and the older tried to keep him in line. =)

I taught the oldest and they are practically family. I have known them since birth and just think the world of them! The youngest is coming to first grade this year!!

We all go to church together and are gerat friends! I adore their family. I think they are just so cute- and just great kids. They are really photogenic too! They made my job easy!!

And I have to tell you the story of the "Brothers" picture. I took their pictures a couple of years ago. During the session I had one of them walking down the sidewalk with their backs to me. I made it black and white and wrote Brothers across. The oldest loves that picture- and asked me if I'd do another one!! Isn't that the sweetest thing! I actually did a couple for him to choose from-- but this was my favorite! =) I love me a sweet boy!

Thanks, K for trusting me with your memories. Hope you like! =)

Promise of Joy:
My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise His Holy name forever and ever.

Belly Shots =)

This beautiful belly is currently the home of my very first GREAT nephew!! We are so excited! My parents first Great Grandchild is about to make his debut! My sisters first grandchild is just days from coming into the world! My nephews first born is about to make his mark! Woohoo!!! Can you tell I am a little excited??

Our family adores babies-- and we are all anxiously awaiting this precious bundle!! And I know his sweet Mom can't wait to trace his cheek with her fingers and count those precious toes! I get teary just thinking about it!

I have never done belly shots before-- and it really took me a while to get adjusted- and I can tell now that I didn't do a whole lot of variety-- but pregnant women just can't get in the poses I am used to from those children!! HAHA!! Not to mention it was a scorching 98 degrees out there- and those of you who have ben 9 months pregnant know what kind of torture that is!!

The scarf that she is wearing that are jewel tones is a family heirloom in my family. My sister has had it a while- and I thought they'd make a great addition and sentimentality to these pictures. I thought she wore it well!

Soooo, R- I hope you like the pictures. I wish I had been a little more experienced for you- but at least you will have these for memories' sake! =)

I am so proud of you and Chris and the lives that you have created and the family you are bringing your baby into. It is so comforting to know that you will be wonderful parents- and I can not wait to watch your family grow and change into exactly what God designed and planned for you. I will be praying for you- and I know that God has blessed you beyond measure already!!

With much love-
Great Aunt M =)
