Gorgeous Sr!

Have I ever said how much I looove taking Sr portraits?? I really do!! These girls (and sometimes guys) come over and really know their own style and really let their personalities SHINE!! It's a "win/win" situation!!! =)

I absolutely had a wonderful time with this Sr and her Mom. We had a great time- and a great visit!! Except that my husband had to run us over some Benadryl to help fight the MULTIPLE hives the poor girl was getting from this grass!! It looks great-- but must not feel too great!! But she smiled on and still did an awesome job!

I am super proud of these pictures-- and she inspired me to do something with my own kids in this fabulous green!! I love it!! And let me add this note---- NO--- I did NOT touch up her eyes-- AT ALL!!! They are REALLY that blue/green and shined with NO help whatsoever from my computer!! I am soo jealous! =)

As you can tell-- from this being my second post in this field-- I really love it-- and am sad that many of those precious yellow flowers turned black after that ONE cool night we were blessed with! But I like it even with just the weeds! It doesn't take much to please me- haha!!

Well, "J"- I hope you love them!! It was a CHORE to pick out just a few to blog!! There are sooo many that I adore-- and your Mom will be tortured with her decisions!! Because you are one beautiful girl! I wish you the very best and pray that God leads you to the college you are meant to be at!! =) Have a wonderful Senior Year! Thank you for letting me be a small part of it!!

Promise of Joy:
"I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

This scripture is perfect for anyone trying to plan their future. I sometimes I have to meditate on it myself and remember to always seek His will in my life. We could all be encouraged by this!! =)

The Smiths

As with most families-- this family hasn't had a true family portrait in a while. I was so excited and honored that she wanted me to take them!! So we started in their own beautiful front yard- then moved up the road close to my house. This old field is just gorgeous to me-- and it won't be the last time you see it on this blog! haha!! I plan to bring my own kids here-- I just loved it!

We had such a good time and could have just taken pictures all day! They are all so photogenic! Their eyes are just gorgeous! So this is definitely a sneak peek-- there are lots more to put on the gallery later! =)

This sweet family happens to be very good friends of ours. The little girl is one of my little girls very best friends! They have been pretty tight since kindergarten. We love them and had a great time helping them make memories!!

Promise of Joy:
Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
Galations 6:2

What are friends for?? Especially Christian friends that you can trust with your heart. =)

Sweet "T"s!

It was so much fun to get to "shoot" this sweet family again! They are always so sweet and laid back. The weather could not be more beautiful -- maybe cooler-- but not more beautiful.

I taught the smallest of these in first grade. They will all always have a special place in my heart! I'm so sad they are moving-- but I know God is on the middle of it all - and has blessed them thorugh it all. I wish you the very best!

This is my favorite time of year to take pictures! The trees are just gorgeous!
I love to feel the breeze blow-- and look around-- how could anyone deny a true, living God? Wow!

Promise of Joy:
The Lord will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.
Deuteronomy 16:15

We get sooo tired (or I know I do...) but God has promised us His blessings to accompany our works. I have to think of this verse to keep putting one foot in front of the other some times. I am so thankful for a God who loves me like this!!!

Christmas Cards

Here they are!! =)
I have been working on these for a while-- hope you like them!!
I can design Christmas Cards with portraits for ANY session done by me. Just email me or call me and we can talk! =)
Even if we have already talked-- you need to contact me again and let me know which design you prefer.
Thanks for all of the feedback, support and encouraging words I have been receiving--I loooove my family, friends and clients-- more than you will ever know!!! =)

Promise of Joy:
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105

Let's keep in mind the REAL Season-- it is ALL about Jesus!! We are celebrating His life and gift to us all! It wasn't free-- He paid the price - we have to accept Him and FOLLOW Him.
