Happy Family

What a sweet, wonderful family!! This baby is the "apple" of so many "eyes"! LOL!! My little girl thinks she is the best thing ever...so we had to go the next day and get a shot with her. (Hannah Beth is in her aunt's class at school).

This little girl is absolutely beautiful and so very smart!! She has that look of determination in everything she does! I could have shot pictures of her ALL day long! She is the PERFECT subject!! =)

What a hard concept for ME to follow!! I am always trying to "over ride" God. I'm impatient and once He gives me an idea I am READY to see it ALL-- 100%! I have one major project I have been working on for about 3 years-- and I am just starting to see the very beginning fruits--- and oooooohhhhhhh.....I am exploding!! So there are MANY times that I feel like God is saying this to me. He is awesome...and He is good-- and so often I mess up His plans for me. But He loves me and makes things right, even if He has to clean up the mess I have made! I am so thankful.

I had a wonderful getting to know this gorgeous girl and her sweet mom! That is one of the best parts about this job- getting to meet new people! These 2 were great! And the mom was sooo much help!! =)

Meet my replacement-- LOL!!
13 years ago when I was teaching 1st grade and was pregnant with Mitch, Mandi was student teaching at our school. She was an EXCELLENT student teacher and I NEEDED her to take over my class-- and she was everything I thought she'd be! And that was the start of a life long, wonderful friendship.
This girl has been there for me through practically every kind of emaotion you can imagine. She is a great listener, advisor and cheerleader! She was my biggest supporter other than Brandon in going into photography.
Those of you who keep up with this blog will probably recognize her name--- she has left more comments than ANYONE on here! She always lifts me up =)
And now I KNOW she was being honest about my work when she asked ME to capture these amazing memories for her!! LOL!!! That was a huge compliment-- and I have enjoyed every single minute!!
And....I am soooo thankful that she was blessed with a wonderful best friend and soul mate to spend the rest of her life with. She has waited a long time and has never, ever lowered her standards to settle down with someone! And now.... everything she ever wanted is right here! It makes me shaky just writing this because this marriage is an answered prayer. I thank God for Mandi and Ryan... and I pray His blessings on them and their twins they will one day have-- LOL!! (inside joke)-- she is NOT having a baby!!
Ryan...I hope we are still friends after all I put you through for these pictures! heehee!! You are perfect for her, and I love knowing that Mandi has a great man who loves her and takes great care of her.
Thank you Mandi... for all of the above!! And I told you a long time ago that all roads lead to Delhi.... and now YOURS does too!!!! How wonderful is that!! (She is moving to Delhi after the wedding).

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! I loooove these portraits!! She was so relaxed and easy to work with. We had a lot of fun!!

I had the privilege of photographing her sister and 2 of her cousins in the past... and every one of them is just beautiful. Sweet family!
We actually had to reschedule this session twice because of the weather-- but I think it turned out PERFECT!!
