The 'S' Family

This is one of the few sessions that I loved so much in color that I had a hard time turning them to vintage and B/W-- which are usually my favorites!!

I had a great time with this sweet family!! They were a lot of fun and happy to do whatever! I was so excited when this Mom contacted me about doing these pictures!! I have known her for several years but had never met her beautiful family- which I heard so much about! 'T' is the best pediatric nurse around!! She really helped me through some tough spots with my own children in the past!

I was truly honored when she set up her appointment and had to come all the way from Winnsboro for her session! Wow!! That made me feel so special! ♥

These children are just beautiful and sooo different!! Thay look like polar opposites! I love it when that happens!! They are just so unique!! They had the sweetest personalities! The little guy was on the go constantly- I got my exercise getting his pictures!! The girl was too, too funny- she can turn that smile on AND off like a switch! I was amazed!! She is just beautiful!!

He has truly given me immeasurable joy. I am so thankful for the purpose in life that can only come from Him. There are so many things out there designed specifically to bring us joy-- but those things fade away- true joy can be felt even after those things have passed. =) I hope you are a having a Joyful summer!!

Family

I recently took a trip to St. Louis, MO--- which is why I have not posted in a WHILE. We had the BEST time!! I had the best visit with friends and family. I was born in St. Louis and all my Mom's family is still there. So I reunited with lots of cousins that I have not seen in some time. But, as always, you just start right where you left off. We had a ball!

We went to do many fun things! St. Louis is a great vacation spot! They have the most unique childrens museum I have ever seen!! We were there for HOURS. We also went to the arch- the kids looooved it! And we of course did Six Flags.

I couldn't resist posting pictures. These are mainly family pics. I regret that I did not do complete families, and many, many were left out in the hustle and bustle of it all. I was visiting- and not really working- so my mind was not that focused on the pictures =( But I HATE that I did not get everyone!

I love my family and sure wish we all lived closer!!!

This is the verse that really sums up our family to me! We love each other and share all of our burdens- which really lightens the load! I am so thankful that God blessed me with a healthy, loving family! I have family that I can call NO MATTER what situation I am in that will love me unconditionally. This kind of love ONLY comes from Christ Jesus.

Oh Wow!!
I am ever so SHOCKED-- and more than a little humbled to learn that I was nominated by a client as "Best of the Delta" Photographer!!!
There are sooo many awesome names on that list-- and just to be included is a huge honor for me! This was my first true year of business- and I am just overwhelmed!!

Not to mention a little s---l----o---w!!! The sweet lady that nominated me told me about a week ago- but when she said "Delta" I was associating it with the Delta Ballet Company I did a fundraiser for and didn't really understand what she meant!=)

I want to thanks MAB for nominating me! I am truly grateful and honored by this! Please forgive me for being so dense about it! HAHA!!

Appointments

Happy Summer!!! Wow- it is FLYING by-- just like all of us teachers KNEW it would!!

I just wanted to let you "in" on the photography "scoop".

I am honored to say that I am FULLY booked for the fall! I never dreamt in a MILLION years that this business would do as well as it has! I am really humbled by the responses I have received. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart!!

I am now taking appointments for the Spring. The good-weather times fill up really fast, so if you think you might want one- you need to go ahead and schedule. ( I already have 2 "super planners" booked for spring! =)

If for some reason you can not keep your appointment time-- please let me know at least 2 weeks ahead of time. I have a waiting list for those who want an appointment soon, but couldn't get one. If one becomes available, I have someone ready to step into it. =)

This has been a great year! I have had sooo much fun and have met so many wonderful people that I probably would not have met otherwise. I hope that I have been a little more than just a photographer. I hope that somehow I have been used by God to bless you and your family. He is the reason I ventured into this- I only pray that I am serving Him well through this.
